cutting edge of event tech
A carnival kid who
saw a better way
Brian Meade didn't learn the carnival business from a textbook. He grew up in it -- logging more than 10,000 hours on the midway before he even graduated. He ran rides, sold tickets, handled cash, and lived the chaos of show day from the inside out.
He saw the inefficiencies firsthand: cash boxes that didn't balance, manual ticketing that slowed the gates, zero visibility into what was actually happening on the grounds. And he knew there had to be a better way.
Together with co-founder Zack Enright, Brian built MagicTix -- a complete event technology platform born from real operational experience, not Silicon Valley theory. Today, MagicTix powers 2,500+ events annually across 40+ states, serving 70+ clients including Butler Amusements, Talley Amusements, Amusements of America, and Helm and Sons -- with 100% client retention and 90% word-of-mouth growth. Along the way, they also acquired and integrated the CAT Program for show management and built out MagicMoney, MagicInspections, and Magic Maps -- an ecosystem purpose-built for carnivals, fairs, festivals, water parks, FECs, and campgrounds.
